Before we bought our Cuisinart DCC-1200 12-Cup Brew Central Coffee Maker, we have our coffee by hand.
We have a single cup coffee filter membrane is inserted, a filter, filled with ground coffee and poured hot water. We went through this ritual every day.
When our twins were born, we were very busy and had to think of ways to streamline our daily routine. We looked at our daily ritual of coffee and saw that we had addressed some of the steps.
Sowe decided to buy a Cuisinart Brew Central coffee primarily because it automatically brew programmable coffee every morning just before we woke up. We had to fill even before coffee and water in the night, but at least we did not have the water itself, and change two filters each morning to cook.
Our coffee never tastes burnt, and the Cuisinart keeps the coffee hot for two hours. It can make 12 cups, but we never been a full pot, because between the twous, we drink a cup of coffee once a day. We could have bought a small coffee maker, but it would have been not a Cuisinart.
In my opinion, our Cuisinart makes a good cup of coffee. I think it is because of the way they designed that the nozzle is dripping hot water over the coffee grinds and the shape of the cone, funnel, and concentrated all the coffee to the opening.
Our Cuisinart DCC-1200 12-Cup Coffee Maker Brew Central is almost three years oldand we will be there every day without a problem.
